Youthfest

Youthfest at the Dragonfest retreat is day program designed for the youths of our community. Our focus is on educating young people about healthily living, social consciousness and world religions. Our only agenda is making education fun and exciting in a safe environment. We allow kids to be kids and explore the world and social issues around them through crafts, games and interacting with one another.

Youthfest is not a daycare and parent participation is key to our education goals. We believe that parents are the best teachers and roll models and that an active involvement in a childes life prepares them to become the very best adults that they can be.  So please remember that at least one parent of children attending our programs must do an additional workshift at Youthfest.

If you have any questions about our program, contact us at youthprograms@dragonfest.org

All children who are checked into any Youthfest event will be required to have their parent or legal guardians PID # written on their retreat band.

Parents beware that a 10:00 PM Curfew has been implemented for all minors. After that hour, minors must be escorted by an adult when leaving their campsites.  Minor and Adult status is indicated by your retreat wristband. Parents please do not let your minors wear your adult band.  All minors must be camped with their sponsoring adult.

Heart of the Dragon Day Children’s Parade

This wonderful tradition will again be on Saturday this year.  Festive activities will be happening all day long.  We can again all come together and with our combined magic and healing send a huge loving Cone of Power out to help heal our world and our community.  Bring stuff for costumes, bubbles, songs and any ideas to help us pull closer together as the Mother’s children.
