INFORMATION ABOUT THIS YEARS RETREAT WILL BE POSTED AS IT DEVELOPS.

Community Center

Food Donations: In the spirit of community service, we are again asking for food donations for one of the local food banks. Please bring your donation in a non-perishable sealed package. (Can, Jar, non-Frozen)

Harmony Kitchen: Harmony kitchen will be open this year in Area 5 to provide hot and cold drinks and a continental style breakfast.

Bob Key Memorial Stone Soup: The Community Center Team has again planned for the stone soup celebration. All soups are cooked on-site, from scratch.  As always, we look forward to the great variety of side dishes provided by attendees as part of the celebration.  Please remember we are cooking for a few hundred people.  Although we have planned for some dietary preferences, we are not equipped to meet all needs.  If you have strict dietary restrictions, you need to bring food you can eat.  To assist those concerned, all soups will have an ingredient list displayed on or near the pot.  Thank You.

Breakfast Registration: This year in order to better serve you better and keep our costs down, we are asking you to register for breakfast. In years past the Community Center has ended up with an embarrassing (and costly) surplus of food at the end of Retreat.  Having an accurate count of how many servings are needed would greatly reduce unknowns and costs and the way for us to get this information is for you to tell us on your registration formSince breakfast is included in the price of registration this information also serves to keep ticket prices as low as possible.  Please be considerate and only sign up for those mornings you know you will be eating at the Community Center.

You can e-mail alane@frontier.net if you would like to discuss something special you’d like to do for Inspiration Fire. We’d love to have many delights for the eye and ear. Ideas very welcome. Let’s make magic together

Trance Circle Located near Hecate’s Grove, is a more laid back, Spiritual Drumming Circle. Alcohol is allowed and is a “clothing optional” circle. Everyone is welcome, but minors must be attended by their legal guardian at all times. The circle goes from dusk to midnight Wednesday through Friday and dusk to 1:00AM Saturday night.

Merchant/Family Circle, Located in Merchant Row near the Entertainment Stage. It is a “clothing required” circle and anyone is welcome to join in. This circle is in the 10:00 PM curfew zone and therefore drumming ends at 10.

Please inform the Fire Tenders of any UNWELCOME conduct ASAP. They will contact the Heads of Operations and Safety immediately. Remember, NO means NO.

Setup/Takedown/Truck Volunteers

TSetup/Takedown/Truck Volunteers: Volunteers are needed each year to help set up the Retreat on Tuesday, take it down on Sunday, and help with the loading and unloading of the Retreat equipment truck.

Volunteers who are interested in joining the setup/takedown/truck crews can get more information at http://www.dragonfest.org/VI/Volunteer_Positions.html under the Setup/Takedown Work shift Crew option or by email at

Medical Volunteers

There are two different types of volunteer work shifts for Medical this year. If you have a First Aid or better certification, you can choose either the Medical Tent 1 or the Medical Tent 2 near the Boy Scout gate. If you want to volunteer but are not certified, you may volunteer for the Medical Tent 2. We also need volunteers for the rapid response team. These volunteers must be first responder certified or above. CPR/First Aid classes are being offered for a nominal fee for Dragonfest participants. Please see the website for more details.
